Bit Face Shape Selection:


1. Drop Center Bit
Ideal for achieving high penetration rates in soft to medium hard and corrosive rock formations. Designed to operate under low to medium air pressures, offering excellent hole deviation control.
2. Concave Face
The versatile choice for medium hard and homogenous rock formations, providing commendable control over hole deviation and ensuring efficient flushing capacity.
3. Convex Face
Geared for high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard formations with low to medium air pressures. Offers the best resistance to steel wash and may reduce load and wear on gauge buttons, though it offers limited hole deviation control.
4. Double Gauge Face
Designed for swift penetration rates in medium to hard rock formations, this face shape excels with high air pressures and provides excellent resistance to steel wash with a step gauge bit.
5. Flat Face Bit
Engineered for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations, this face shape thrives in applications with high air pressures, delivering superior penetration rates and exceptional resistance to steel wash.
